Bubu launched a rewarding career as the protagonist of high altitude adventures all over the world. He has had a memorable career marked by exploits like the 1999 revolution of the Dry Tooling difficulty scale for mixed rock and ice climb with the use of and ice axes by repeating the most difficult routes for this discipline and adding new ones. In the same year he participated in the Ice World Cup competition for ice climbing and usually ended up on the podium.
