(20.01.2010)At ISPO Ferrino will be presenting a collection of Outdoor accessories and Apparel, strongly featuring a large number of new ideas as well as reflecting our constant research into materials and limiting weight as we continue to follow up the research of our previous collections.
HL BACKPACKS
A new range of backpacks offering cutting-edge designs and construction that bring together light weight and practical use.
The whole range of HighLab backpacks uses welds (WTS, Welded Technical System) in place of traditional seams to guarantee total water tightness. Backpack construction has been made even lighter by an essential design in line with the major trends for outdoor accessories. The emphasis remains on the classic HighLab colours, orange and blue, but on some models, white has been added to create a more urban, contemporary style.
New additions to the collection: XMT 35 and 50 mountaineering models with vertical front opening.
HL RACE 20 is a new ultra-light day-pack designed specifically for ski mountaineering. It weighs just 320 grams while offering a 20-litre capacity, compartment for crampons and ski holder on the back. Another ultra-light model is the LITE 35, a backpack for climbing and ski mountaineering weighing just 600 grams.
CYBERSAFE, the backpack with an integrated avalanche protection airbag, is now available in the new 20-litre model dedicated to lovers of skiing off piste and with a construction that limits overall size to a minimum; the 30-litre model is still part of the collection and it has a restyled front panel in black and orange that makes it roomier and also less cumbersome.
HATS AND GLOVES
A wide range of ergo-design, windproof hats and headbands in Powerstretch technical fabric, created for hiking and high altitudes or even for wearing under a motorbike helmet.
The NITRO gloves in soft leather with foam reinforcements around the knuckles also offer versatility when it comes to use, ranging from winter sports to motorcycling. ALPAMAYO gloves in Dry Zone® membrane are suitable for wear in the most extreme conditions, while TACTIVE is a versatile mitten in windproof, breathable fabric, which can also be worn for cycling or running and has a pull-back top to free the fingers.
SLEEPING BAGS
The new DIABLE stretch sleeping bags combine comfort and freedom: stretch seams and horizontal welds give the body room to move and offer enhanced performance. The weight/volume ratio is exceptional, as is the ability of these bags to protect against the cold.
BALDAS
The winter 2010 season marks the debut of FELIK, the new snow shoe with cutting-edge design concept.
Felik stands out for its eye-catching two-tone look and the new lock/release system with integrated heel lift that can be activated with your pole, as well as the new adjustment to shoe size. The toothed double profile at the sides guarantees improved grip and greater stability, even on frozen surfaces, inclined slopes and counter slopes. Felik also has a raised front tip, which makes it easier to move through sections of deep snow.
