FRAMED TENT
Model of tent used by the main world organizations for refugees support (i.e. UN Agencies and International Red Cross), capable of hosting a family of 5 people.
The structure is ideal for use in urban areas, and is self-stable, allowing it to be installed easily on hard surfaces too.
The tent has two entrances opposite each other, a flat one and one with a trapezoid-shaped ante-chamber, thus its symmetrical shape provides the possibility of joining two tents on the flat side, creating a larger environment. The frame is made from galvanised steel and is easy to assemble.
The tent has 6 windows with mosquito nets and a rain cover: 2 on each of the side walls, one on the back and a smaller one in the entrance.
The inner compartment is square, and hooks up to the external frame of the tent. It has a built-in groundsheet in strong polyethylene.
Each tent is packed in a tough transportation sack, containing everything required to use the tent.
