    RESPONSIBLE TOURISM

    We are all about slow,
    sustainable tourism

WE ARE TRAVELLING WITH...
Since 2006, with the creation of the T.RES project, we have been supporting promoters of new forms of tourism, based on saving the environment and boosting dialogue between peoples. The project is devised to promote ethical tourism that respects an area and the customs of those who live there. Tourism can become a symbol for the universal principles of fairness, sustainability and tolerance.
Happiness Project

Happiness Project

Giuseppe Bertuccio D’Angelo, the creator of Progetto Happiness, set off on a world tour to discover the secret of happiness. He’s currently in Italy visiting all of our regions with the aim of interviewing as many people as possible about the topic of happiness.

All interviewees will be asked 10 questions to understand how the most coveted and least classifiable feeling is expressed. A large number of extraordinary people from different cultures and social classes will take part into the project with several interviews. From Sardinia to Molise, from Calabria to Piedmont, Giuseppe will ask the same important questions: "What does your most beautiful memory smell like? What is the most precious thing you have?

But what does happiness mean to Giuseppe?

"Right now, I think it's about being aware of things in our everyday life, which is difficult for me. It’s not every day that I manage to think of what makes me lucky. That doesn’t mean we have to be complacent: knowledge is just a starting point finding your own path, serenely” .
Va' Sentiero

Va' Sentiero

We are travelling with the members of Va' Sentiero, to discover Sentiero Italia, the longest trekking route in the world, through the highlands of Italy.  Yuri Basilicò, Sara Furlanetto and Giacomo Riccobono, who are passionate about the Italian mountains and their hidden treasures, are travelling along the Sentiero Italia, the world’s longest trekking route, after setting out on 1 May from Muggia (Trieste). They will be walking for over 6,000 km, crossing the Alps and the Apennines, and passing through all 20 regions of Italy (from Friuli-Venezia Giulia to Sardinia) and over 350 mountain villages.

It is not a sporting challenge but rather a social initiative, based on the idea of a shared experience that also aims to offer a window onto the highlands of Italy: the landscapes, faces, traditions, food, trades, dialects… Anyone can take part in a short section of the expedition, for first-hand experience of how valuable our mountains really are, and the importance of a sustainable approach to the environment.

Slow, carefree walks that respect the surroundings, to relaunch the priceless natural and environmental heritage of our country. “With our journey, we want to raise awareness of the Sentiero Italia, especially among our peers, all over the world. We want to give a voice to the highlands of Italy, marvellous places that are often forgotten, depopulated and abandoned to themselves. 2019 is the national Year of Slow Tourism: the perfect time!” said Yuri Basilicò, the man behind Va’ Sentiero.
