Va' Sentiero

Va' Sentiero

Bringing the whole of Italy together in a single walk. That is the spirit of the project Va’ Sentiero. Yuri Basilicò, Sara Furlanetto and Giacomo Riccobono are the people behind this ambitious idea that aims to introduce the beauty of our country using a different language. Their aim is to travel the Sentiero Italia CAI, a 6880-kilometre path that crosses the two large mountain ridges of the Italian peninsula which was brought back to life in 2019 by the Club Alpino Italiano, to lend a voice to the high ground and to show off the beauty and pleasure of walking to younger people.

An inclusivity project

Sharing and inclusivity are the fundamental principles of the project that communicates about mountains using photos, videos, direct experiences and participation. Va’ Sentiero is a collective experience, they say, open to anyone who wants to join the expedition (also only for one stage) by donating face and voice to the narration.
