The Path of Peace
An itinerary of great environmental interest with a profound cultural and historical significance: a journey through memories, for reflection and meditation.
The "Path of Peace" is a trail that follows the front line of World War I in what was the western sector of the Italian-Austrian war, fought between 1915 and 1918. The route spans approximately 604 km, from the Stelvio Pass to the Marmolada, connecting glacier peaks to Alpine valleys. It creates an extensive network of trails, allowing hikers to reach forts, strongholds, valley defenses, military roads, and trenches established by the Italian and Austro-Hungarian armies during the First World War.
From late August to late September, Ferrino will be with Va' Sentiero on the trail and invites its community to join in discovering the #PathOfPeace in Trentino.
