THE FERRINO AMBASSADOR ALEKSANDRA TAISTRA IS THE MAIN CHARACTER OF THE GORROPU DOCUMENTARY THAT WILL BE PRESENTED IN APRIL 2020.

The strong polish climber made people talk about her in the last autumn because of her climbing in a day the legendary route "Hotel Supramonte" (8b max/ 7c  - 400 m) at the Gorropu Gorge in Sardinia. Opened by Rolando Larcher and Roberto Vigiani back in 1998/99 this is a magnificent multi-pitch route, that with its long development and high difficult grade it's definitely an important achievement for a climber.  

The film “GORROPU, an inspirational climbing story” directed by Francesco Pierini and produced by Francesco Pierini, Ivan Frattina e Filippo Maragno tells the story of Aleksandra that with her great passion and an uncommon determination show  as climbing can turn into a great motivation towards the self-understanding.

Aleksandra wears Rock Slave and uses Ferrino High Lab camping equipments to be always ready for every weather conditions. In Sardinia she used the Pilier 2 tent which is, thanks to his geodetic construction, perfect for windy places.

WHO IS ALEKSANDRA TAISTRA

Born in Poland in 1982, Aleksandra Taistra for 19 years has been dedicating herself to free climbing with great passion during daily training but also in her holidays, travels or even while working. This perseverance  brought her to become the fourth woman to climb on an 8C grade.

Gymnastic Teacher, specialized in Coaching, she teaches and trains young climbers motivating them and always pushing them beyond their limits. She moved to Italy one year ago to be always close to the climbing areas she loves most. Indeed in Sardinia, at the Gorropu Gorge, she completed one of the her most difficult climb, closing in one single day the legendary “Hotel Supramonte” Route (8b max/ 7c min. - 400 m) opened by Rolando Larcher and Roberto Vigiani back in 1999.

Her motto? Push beyond your limits, be happy and always have fun.
