TheLadek Mountain Festival (also known as Festiwal Górski) has been held for 23 year in a small town in the south of Poland, called Ladek Zdroj. It’s an international event where every year many of the best mountaineers, of the present and the past, gather between them. One of the most important moment of this festival is the awards ceremony of the Piolet d’Or, as a mountain Oscars.
Ferrino attended to this event in order to introduce its best products to the large number of mountain lover that were there.
At the Ferrino stand there were the entire polish team of “K2 dla Polaków”, who tried, the past winter, the first winter climbing of the K2.
We’ve shared with them some of the moments of its expedition and we’ve talked about the Ferrino products that have been used by them during all those days while they were trying to reach one of the most difficult peak of the planet, which has never been reached yet in the winter.
The polish team mountaineers shown themselves very satisfied with the Ferrino Pilier 2 tent and with the Radical 45 and 80 backpacks. All these products were severely tested during the expedition, due to the extreme conditions that can be found at so high height in the winter.
