How to leave behind a quiet career in banking to dedicate yourself to your love of trail running and the Valle d’Aosta mountains. Born and raised on the Veneto plains, she has lived in La Magdeleine for six years, a tiny village in Valtournenche at 1,600 metres above sea level, where she lives the life she has pursued for a long time. Lisa is one of the great protagonists of nature running, with amazing results, a wild character and her endless passion that pushes her to compete in any type of race of any distance almost every week, even if not suitable for her ultrarunner technical characteristics.

Racing is her whole life now. With her school TRAILored 4 You, created together with her husband Paolo, Lisa trains many athletes and people wanting to finish the tougher races, but also entertains children at special camps organised just for them. Lisa is very careful about what she eats “but I can’t say no to chocolate” and imposes strict training tables on herself, with a constant eye on the Tor des Géants, her favourite race that she has already won twice. She loves Jovanotti but only wears headphones when running on the road, because she doesn’t want any distractions on the trails. What is her dream? “I’m not going to say, otherwise it will never come true”, she starts by saying, but then lets slip her desire to go on a long trek in the mountains of Nepal. She is more likely to go back to Peru, however, where she has worked for charity and human promotion for some time, with the volunteers of Operation Mato Grosso.
