Read up on the history, culture and customs of the country you are visiting.
Deal with situations with a certain ability to adapt.
Never behave in a way that could offend the culture of your host country.
Ask permission before taking pictures or filming.
Avoid disposable products; place your waste in the right containers and only leave your footprints behind you.
Never waste water or energy.
If possible, travel on foot, or use a bicycle or shared form of transport.
Play your part in protecting the ecosystem of our planet: never use products made using endangered animals or plants.
Buy local as this will help the economy of your host country.
Try to experience everyday life. Learn some of the language and don’t limit yourselves to visiting just the tourist resorts.
