"A beautiful experience that brought me to one of the many still uncontaminated places on this planet, to the east of the Himalayas, to accomplish an incredible and wild adventure". That’s how Tomas Franchini commented his solo ascent to the Lamo She (6070 m), along the East side, that has never been climbed before.

"Before facing the wall - said Tomas, a thirty-year-old mountaineer from Madonna di Campiglio - many days of bad weather have passed, during which the support offered by the Lhotse 4 Ferrino tent was fundamental, a valid help and a nice comfort even in the middle of torrential rain and fog, I would not have accomplished my challenge without it".

He spent many days of bad weather alone at the base camp at 3400 meters high, after his climbing partner Pietro Picco returned home, Tomas took advantage of a short window of good weather to finally start the climb, opening a new 1500 meters long route in 7 hours.

"I climbed lightly and fast and learned a lot, it was an experience that will stay with me forever", said Tomas, enthusiastic about the success of the expedition and ready to face new projects that will take him to still pristine peaks and slopes of the world.
